V.P Singh graduated from Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi in 1983 and completed his post graduate studies from I.I.T. Delhi obtaining a degree M. TECH. (Structures) in 1989 As part of his research work, he developed the finite strip method of structural analysis and submitted a thesis called “Design Of Skew Bridges Using Finite Strip Method ”. He has gained over 30 years of experience in his field having worked on many prestigious projects in India, U.A.E, Bahrain and Tanzania . He has worked on Structural Designs of Hotels, Bridges, Transmission Line Foundations in creeks, Water,sewage and effluent Treatment Plants , High Rise Commercial and Residential Towers and Shopping Centers and Mall . Some of his notable structures which he has designed include 135m. Pre Stressed Cantilever construction Bridge over deep gaurge with tall piers, Singapore high commission in delhi India, Taj Vivanta in Gurgaon, Haryana, Intake Well in Bhramputra Guwhati and 740MLD Water Treatment Plant in Hyderabad.
